For now you should revert to the official release version of WSJT-X v2.1.2. The top 2 waveforms are for the full QSK mode and the bottom one is for standard break-in mode at 60 WPM and delay time set to 2.0 dot times which is the minimum setting. On mic PTT or panel sw activation it goes into xmit, red led on, xmit indicator on display screen but no power out on panel meter or external power meter (power set to 100) (w/ good antenna). I suspect it is the latest v2.2.0 RC1 beta test version, that version has a known issue with using RTS or DTR for PTT. my IC756-PRO works correctly for receive but it will not xmit.

You don't mention which version of WSJT-X you are using. Any suggestions on the correct settings to get this to work would be greatly appreciated. I was able to get another digital mode program, FLDIGI, to work using their FLrig software, using the listed settings and RTS, but as indicated this does not work with WSJT-X. I have tried with the PTT settings on CAT and RTS, both result in the radio immediately going into transmit mode. I believe the correct settings for the 756PROII to be 9600 baud, 8, N, 1. However, as soon as I activate the PTT settings, the transceiver immediately goes to transmit mode, and the Transmit button ion the radio has no effect in turning it back to receive, and I then get a rig control error message.

Also, the serial port shows up correctly as the dev/ttyUSB assigned to the Plug & Play. The baud rate for the 756PROII is set at 9600 baud, so I know that part of the set up is correct. In the boxes of FREQ: and MODE: change the number 64 to 94.

The WSJT-X software is able to receive and decode FT-8 with no problems, but I am unable to get the PTT settings to work.

I am using an older HP desktop converted to Linux (running Ubuntu Mate distribution), with a West Mountain Radio Rig Blaster Plug & Play as an interface between the computer and radio. I am trying to finalize the setup of IC-756PROII to work with WSJT-X. Also, the serial port shows up correctly as the dev/ttyUSB assigned to the Plug & Play. I have a hum on transmit, I can hear it on monitor mode too. The baud rate for the 756PROII is set at 9600 baud, so I know that part of the set up is correct.
